Overview of the role of Music Composer or Musical Artist
The word “Composer” is derived from the Latin word “compōnō” which means "one who puts together”. In music, a Composer will often document their work in a written form as a musical score, using musical notes, creating music of any kind including singing, instrumental music, electronic music and music which combines multiple forms. As such, a musical artist may create music in any music genre, including classical music, musical theatre, blues, folk music, jazz, and pop (popular) music. A lot of those who compose music are also excellent musical performers too.
